St. Patrick's Celebration & Mass March 13, 2005

The procession starts with the Pipers, then the Irish Dancers.

Then the Chalice bearers. It looked like the largest attendance in years.

There were many infants and parents dressed in green.

A poignant moment at communion. Bishop Hubbard tells of his pleasure to be at his home parish and his association with our favorite Irish Tenor, Gerry Brehm. Father Jones and the Bishop exit after the Irish National Anthem, "When Irish Eyes are Smiling" and Our National Anthem. Note the green chain holding the Bishops Cross.

At the reception in the former school, Father Jones thanks Bill Sage for the magnificent repainting of the Church interior. It is not in any of these pictures, so that you may come and admire it in person. The cloth behind the side altars was re-golded. The Rose window behind the organ pipes now also stands out.
Four of our weekly parishioners are just leaving with a few goodies. Perhaps not enough mention is made of our youth who come to Mass on their own every Sunday.
