The former St. Patrick's school was closed in 2002 and leased to the Ark Charter School. St. Patrick's and the diocese hold a mortgage to be paid off in 20 years.

It reopened as a charter school in September, 2004.
An elevator was installed and significant restoration and remodeling has been done.

The provision for the church to the use of the gym/cafeteria 12 times a year is working.
We have used the brand new Kitchen and remodeled cafeteria for a dinner and breakfast.
